Monitoring
Dedicated data for monitoring is chosen, reduced, synchronised and combined with other data and visualized for the human eye.
These data will not only be available in the office next door, but also at remote locations using modern networking technologies.
The data acquisition sends a reduced monitor data stream via the network to the Monitor Server. The Monitor Server processes the data, if necessary, combines it with other data, and sends the processed data again via the network. The Monitor Client receives selected data streams and visualizes the data eligibly.
The monitoring data is transported from respectively to a couple of stations. Therefore the data transport is realised using IP Multicast and is already successfully implemented inside the prototype.
The configuration of the processes that create the visualization data is highly flexible and can be configured without any changes in the software kernel.
There are many visualization requirements: ADC and Video data has to be visualized, changes in time have to be detected, different phenomena should be looked up in relation to each other and therefore have to be visualized side by side.
