MIGenAS

  • MIGenAS (Max Planck Integrated Gene Analysis System) is a joint initiative of several research groups of the Max-Planck-Society in collaboration with partners from University institutes.
  • MIGenAS provides an integrated environment for bioinformatics software tools and data for covering the processing chain from the sequences of DNA fragments (reads) on to the genome sequence (assembly), ORF prediction and function assignment (annotation), phylogenetic analysis, and models of the secondary and tertiary structures.
  • The MIGenAS toolkit for web-based sequence analysis features convenient, "pipelined" and high-throughput applications.
  • Reference: Rampp, M., T. Soddemann, H. Lederer: The MIGenAS integrated bioinformatics toolkit for web-based sequence analysis. Nucleic Acids Research 34 (Web Server issue), W15-W19 (2006).
