First Steps for RZG users

  1. New users apply for an account by filling in the application form (online form, pdf) and submitting it to RZG.
  2. After the account has been created, the user can login to the gateway machine gate.rzg.mpg.de. Information about the gateway machine that serves general purposes can be found here.
  3. From the gateway machine, users can access any of the login nodes of the compute clusters for which they are authorized. Specific authorization requests have to be declared in the account application form.
