Introduction to the computing facilities

The operating systems of the RZG computing facilities are of the UNIX-type. Users login to the gateway machine gate.rzg.mpg.de (sp.rzg.mpg.de) via ssh. From the gateway machine the login nodes of following compute clusters can be accessed:

RZGCC (64-Bit Opteron cluster)

Miscellaneous computing systems.

 

Personal settings (e.g. passwords) can be customized in section userspace in the upper part of this page.
