Configuration of the IBM Power6 575 system

The current configuration includes:

   205 compute nodes
       2 nodes for login and program development
       6 I/O nodes
       1 HSM (Hierarchical Storage Management) node
      

• Processor clock: 4.7 GHz
• Peak perf. per proc: 18.8 GFlop/s
• Processors per node: 32    (each with 2 hardware threads, so we have 64 logical cpus per node)
  

• Main memory of the compute nodes:  125 x  64 GB
                                                          78 x 128 GB
                                                            2 x 256 GB

• Main memory of the login and development nodes: 2 x 256 GB

The Power6 575 nodes are connected by a fast 8-link InfiniBand network.

Batch access is via the Loadleveler system from the Power6 login node "vip".
For the actual batch class configuration, execute the command "llclass".
