Access to the IBM Blue Gene/P system

If your code is suited for running on the Blue Gene/P system you may apply for getting access to the Blue Gene/P. Userid and (Kerberos) password will be the same as on the Power 5 and 6 systems.

Access information for DEISA users

Login:

The Blue Gene/P "genius" can be accessed from the RZG intranet via ssh / slogin (protocol version 2):

       slogin genius.rzg.mpg.de

From the public internet you will first have to login either to the HPC login node "vip.rzg.mpg.de" or to the general gateway machine "gate.rzg.mpg.de".
